changing care
systems
The care system in the Netherlands has changed from subsidised organisation to personal budgets for the actual people in need of care. People are in control of choosing the how they spend their budget for care. Elderly homes should be approaching their residents as guests. Service packaging and pay per use are much more relevant. With the rapid aging population of Holland, the role of how these homes are serving the needs for healthy aging, social engagement and mobility of these people are much more relevant. We create strategies and concepts how to implement the needs into spatial and service models.
