Apto was enlisted by Eden Hotels to direct the hospitality strategy and draft the interior design for their hotel located in central Amserdam. With the primary challenge being, connecting two pre-existing hotels and transforming the space into one new rejuvenated space.

Eden hotel
A revitalization of 2 hotels into 1 vibrant hospitality experience. From the river Amstel to Rembrandtsquare, visitors follow a long line of different atmospheres from posh to buzz.
Indoor street of experiences
From the river Amstel to Rembrandt square, visitors follow a long line of different atmospheres. From easy going to buzz, from neutral tones to crazy colorful in an indoor street like a pearl necklace with highlights separated by darkness. The former warehouse of ‘Bensdorp cacao’ historically lacks daylight to keep the goods longer.
We made it even darker. A scenography towards the light from the dark, a theatrical gesture with coulisse effect that pulls you from the dark zones into the next experience.

The darkest club in Amsterdam
The hidden gem: the darkest club in Amsterdam. Located in the basement of this canal house, we emphasised the features present and made it even more deep and dark. Do you dare to dance under the heart of historic Amsterdam?
