The waking up experience

The Element brand is designed to provide a personal experience away from home. Targeting extended stays, the operation is self-serviced. Guests can follow their own routine not only in their rooms but also in the lobby, creating a unique and flexible journey. Want a coffee at 3:00 AM? Work out after lunch? No problem. Nothing is mandatory, everything is possible.

Design translation

The concept of being “awake” is central to the extended stay experience. It applies on multiple levels: from how guests start their day in the morning, to how aware they are of environmental sustainability, and even more broadly, to their personal sense of responsibility and conscious choices. To reflect these values in the design, we established three guiding principles that are evident throughout the hotel: creating spaces that destress and awaken the mind, making the experience personalised for each guest, and integrating technology and sensory elements to enhance comfort and engagement.

Apto Architects segmented the public area into four distinct zones: the Oasis, the Club, the Lounge, and the Studio. Each zone has its own unique aesthetic character, while a consistent thematic design runs throughout, creating a cohesive experience that flows seamlessly from one space to the next.

The most significant feature in the public zone is the full-length functional wall, which houses all guest services while remaining discreet and unobtrusive when not in use.

The flexible Studio space is a multi-functional area that can serve as a gym, cinema room, game night venue, or even an event space for art exhibitions and meetings, providing versatility for a variety of guest needs.
