Rebranding into an independent identity

How to reposition this office building in the market? Step one is to split the existing office building ‘De Argonaut’ into two independent parts. The highrise contains the well-used ‘Huis voor de gezondheid’. But the low-rise needs to improve its identity and what it has to offer. Especially in a time when office space is available in plenty.

Designing the business case

Apto designs at strategic level and rethinks businesscases as well as architecture. By splitting the building we can create a new identity and reposition the Koploper in the market as the most sustainable office in Amersfoort.

Achieve more with less

Key to the rebranding as a independent identity is creating a main entrance. With a stylish, spacious and healthy waiting area and reception. Through smartly rethinking all parameters in and outside the field of architecture, we managed to achieve a lot with just simple interventions. The new entrance connects to the former design philosophy of the Amersfoort train station. ‘High tech elements combined with architectural ensembles’.  The new offices will mainly be focused on governmental and NGO users, closely connected to the current tenants of the ‘Huis van de gezondheid’ nextdoor.

Koploper together with our previous project ‘de Conducteur’ forms the mile long station front seen from the city side.
